Sketches the Wind Forgot

For a long time, I have been drawn to the silent geometry of bare trees.
When leaves fall away, something honest remains.
Branches stretch into the sky like unplanned sketches—
lines without intention, yet full of meaning.

Today, that quiet fascination asked to be seen through a lens.
So I left home with my camera and walked toward Avala Betta,
not chasing a subject,
but allowing one to reveal itself.

Against the sky, the trees spoke in patterns.
Some felt restless, twisting as if mid-thought.
Some stood still, their branches holding space like paused breath.
Each silhouette felt like a moment of the mind—
unfinished, searching, yet complete in its own way.

There was no drama in color.
Only contrast.
Light and shadow negotiating gently,
as if the sky agreed to listen.

These photographs are not about trees alone.
They are about what remains when excess disappears.
About structure without decoration.
About the quiet beauty of being exposed,
and still standing.

Sometimes, nature does not ask to be admired.
It only asks to be noticed.
